C1The Secretary of State shall not under the powers of section 6 acquire compulsorily any land of F1Canal & River Trust or any easement or other right over such land other than such land, or easements or other rights thereover, as is reasonably necessary for, or in connection with, the construction, maintenance or operation of works authorised by this Act.
