In section 1 of the Consumer Protection Act 1987 (purpose and construction of Part 1), in subsection (2), for the words “Damages (Scotland) Act 1976” there is substituted “ Damages (Scotland) Act 2011 ”.

(2)

In section 6 of that Act (application of certain enactments etc.)––

(a)

in subsection (1)(c), for the words “section 1 of the Damages (Scotland) Act 1976” there is substituted “ sections 3 to 6 of the Damages (Scotland) Act 2011 ”, and

(b)

in subsection (2), for the words “Damages (Scotland) Act 1976” there is substituted “ Damages (Scotland) Act 2011 ”.
