Paragraph 9 of Schedule 10 (further provision about fixed monetary penalties: disclosure of information) is amended as follows.

In sub-paragraph (5)(a), for “the Data Protection Act 1998 (c. 29)” substitute “ the data protection legislation ”.

After sub-paragraph (6) insert—

“(7)

In this paragraph, “the data protection legislation” has the same meaning as in the Data Protection Act 2018 (see section 3 of that Act).”
