The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 250 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988f1, with the consent of the Treasury pursuant to subsection (3) of that section as to the fees prescribed under these Rules, and after consultation with the Council on Tribunals in accordance with section 10(1) of the Tribunal and Inquiries Act 1971f2, hereby makes the following Rules:–

1988 c. 48; under sub-paragraph (6) of paragraph 19 of Schedule 1 to the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 the provisions of section 250 apply in relation to proceedings brought under or by virtue of that paragraph as to proceedings under Part III of the Act.
