The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 36 and 39(1) the Registered Designs Act 1949^f1 and now vested in him^f2 and after consultation with the Council on Tribunals pursuant to section 10(1) of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1971^f3, hereby makes the following Rules:—
