Regulation 5 Authorised officersI1

Any person appointed as such by the Secretary of State shall be an authorised officer for the purposes of these Regulations.

Any person appointed as such by an enforcement authority designated in regulation 4 shall be an authorised officer for the purposes of these Regulations within the area for which that enforcement authority is responsible in accordance with regulation 4.
