Article 2 Amendments to Distress for Rent Rules 1988

In Appendix 1 to the Distress for Rent Rules 1988^f1, for paragraph 1 substitute—

“1

For levying distress—

(i) on any debt up to and including £100 a fixed fee of	£21.65
(ii) on any debt which exceeds £100 a scale fee calculated as follows:
on the first £100 of that debt	£21.65
on the next £100	12½%
on the next £400	4%
on the next £1,500	2½%
on the next £8,000	1%
and on any additional sum	¼%.
