Article 6 Wards of the parish of Kingsteignton

(1)

The existing wards of the parish of Kingsteignton shall be abolished.

(2)

The parish shall be divided into two parish wards which shall bear the names Kingsteignton East and Kingsteignton West.

(3)

The Kingsteignton East parish ward shall comprise so much of the district ward of Kingsteignton East as comprises the parish of Kingsteignton and the Kingsteignton West parish ward shall comprise so much of the district ward of Kingsteignton West as comprises the parish of Kingsteignton.

(4)

The number of councillors to be elected for the Kingsteignton East parish ward shall be seven and the number of councillors to be elected for the Kingsteignton West parish ward shall be six.
