Section 6 Saving of local Acts and of 30 & 31. Vict. c. 134. s. 18.
This Act shall not affect the powers contained . . . F1 in any local or other Act of Parliament for the same or like purposes; and in places where any such local or other Act is in force, proceedings may be taken under such local or other Act, or under this Act, as may be deemed expedient.
