Article 9 Prohibition on guard dog kennels

A person shall not keep guard dog kennels unless he is registered in accordance with Article 10 in respect of the kennels.

A person shall not use or permit the use at any place of a guard dog if he knows or has reasonable cause to suspect that the dog (when not being used as a guard dog) is normally kept at guard dog kennels in respect of which a person is not registered under Article 10.

Any person who contravenes paragraph (1) or (2) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £200.
