Regulation 19 Additional requirements for applications for a proxy vote in respect of a particular election

After paragraph 7(7E) (additional requirements for applications for a proxy vote in respect of a particular election) of schedule 3^f1 insert—

“(7F)

Sub-paragraph (7G) applies where an application under article 9(2) to vote by proxy at a particular election is made—

(a)

on grounds that the circumstances set out in paragraph 9(4F) apply, and

(b)

after 5 pm on the sixth day before the date of a poll at the election for which it is made.

(7G)

The application must, in addition to providing the information required by sub-paragraph (1), state that it is being provided because of those circumstances.”.
