Regulation 43 Regulation 12A (insertion of new paragraph)

After regulation 12 (announcement of changes to the buffer rate) insert—

“Buffer rate rules

12A.
(1)

Nothing in paragraph 17(9)(b) of Schedule 6A to the Bank of England Act 1998 or paragraph 8 of Part 1 of Schedule 1ZA to FSMA prohibits the making of a rule by the PRA or the FCA that references a countercyclical capital buffer rate set by the FPC under this Part.”f1.
