Article 167 Application of Order in relation to institutions established outside Northern Ireland

This Article applies where institutions established for charitable purposes are managed or controlled in or from a place outside Northern Ireland.

The Department may by order provide that any provision of this Order is to apply in relation to the operations of such institutions in or from Northern Ireland subject to such modifications as the order may specify.

In paragraph (2), “modifications” includes additions, alterations and omissions.

No order may be made under this Article unless a draft of the order has been laid before and approved by a resolution of the Assembly.

Nothing in this Article prejudices the generality of Article 181.
