Regulation 38 Definitions

In this Chapter—

• “excluded material” has the meaning given by section 11 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984^f1;

• “items subject to legal privilege” has the meaning given by section 10 of that Act;

• “special procedure material” has the meaning given by section 14 of that Act.

In this Chapter, a reference to an officer of the Regulator is a reference to an officer of the Regulator authorised in writing by the Regulator for the purposes of section 8(7) of, or paragraph 14(5) of the Schedule to, the Act.
