Regulation 2 Interpretation

In these Regulations—

• “the 1998 Act” means the Competition Act 1998^f1;

• “the appointed day” means the 1st May 2004;

• “the EC Competition Regulation” means Council Regulation (EC) No. 1/2003 of 16th December 2002 on the implementation of the rules on competition laid down in Articles 81 and 82 of the Treaty^f2;

• “the OFT” means the Office of Fair Trading; and

• “the Treaty” means the treaty establishing the European Community.
