Paragraph 2

The Companies Act 1989^f1 is amended as follows.

Subsection (2)(a) of section 46 (delegation of functions of Secretary of State), section 47 (restrictive practices) and Schedule 14 (supervisory and qualifying bodies: restrictive practices) shall cease to have effect.

In section 54 (index of defined expressions) the entry in the Table relating to “Director (in Schedule 14)” shall cease to have effect.
