Article 5 Registration and requirements of participants and others

(1)

Part 2 provides for registration as a participant for a phase of the scheme.

(2)

In respect of a phase a participant must comply with—

(a)

Part 3 to provide annual reports on CRC supplies;

(b)

Part 4 to surrender allowances equal to the participant’s CRC emissions; and

(c)

Part 5 to keep and audit records relating to the requirements of Part 2 to 4.

(3)

The following have effect in respect of Parts 2 to 5—

(a)

Schedule 2 (public bodies);

(b)

Schedule 3 (undertakings and participant equivalents);

(c)

Schedule 4 (information on registration);

(d)

Schedule 5 (changes to participants).

Part 6 provides for persons to provide information and assistance to participants and the administrator.
