Paragraph 39 The Groundwater Regulations 1998

The Groundwater Regulations 1998f1 are amended (in relation to England and Wales) as follows.

In regulation 1(3), in the definition of “authorisation”, for sub-paragraphs (e) and (f) substitute—
“(e)an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2007, except to the extent that it authorises the operation of a Part B activity within the meaning of those Regulations;”.
(3)
In regulation 3, for “the Pollution Prevention and Control (England and Wales) Regulations 2000”, substitute “the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2007”.
