Regulation 41 Amendments to Article 39

In Article 39—

(a)

in paragraph 1, for “Member States” substitute “The appropriate authority”;

(b)

in paragraph 2—

(i)

in the words before point (a), for “those Member States that have” substitute “a constituent territory of the United Kingdom which has”;

(ii)

in point (a), for “accordance with Article 40” substitute “the other constituent territories of the United Kingdom and in member States”;

(c)

for paragraph 3 substitute—

“3.

The appropriate authority must make the name, address and contact details of the central database of a constituent territory available to member States, the other constituent territories of the United Kingdom and to the public.”.
