Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1

The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 55(1) and (2) and 61(3) of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 2008f1.

A draft of these Regulations was laid before Parliament in accordance with section 62(4) of that Act and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
