(1)

Article 12 shall apply where an applicant’s examination has begin before the date that article comes into force, as well as where it begins on or after that date.

(2)

Article 13 shall apply with respect to leave to enter or remain in the United Kingdom which is in force on the date that article comes into force, as well as to such leave given after that date.
