The Lord Chancellor, in relation to judicial offices for which the Lord Chancellor is the appropriate Minister within the meaning of section 30 of the Judicial Pensions and Retirement Act 1993f1 and the Secretary of State in relation to judicial offices for which the Secretary of State is the appropriate Minister within the meaning of section 30 of that Act, make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 18A of that Actf2.

A draft of this instrument has been laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament pursuant to section 29(2A)f3 of that Act.
