Regulation 133 Amendment of the Investigatory Powers (Interception by Businesses etc. for Monitoring and Record-keeping Purposes) Regulations 2018

The Investigatory Powers (Interception by Businesses etc. for Monitoring and Record-keeping Purposes) Regulations 2018f1 are amended as follows.

In regulation 2 (interpretation), in the definition of “regulatory or self-regulatory practices or procedures”, in paragraph (a)—
(a)
in sub-paragraph (i), for the words from “provision” to “Area” substitute “enactment”;
(b)
in sub-paragraph (ii), for the words “a member” to “Area” substitute “the United Kingdom”.
(3)
In regulation 4 (restrictions on the lawful interception of communications), omit paragraph (2).
