Regulation 67 Amendment of the Police Act 1996
(1)
The Police Act 1996f1 is amended as follows.

In section 88 (liability for wrongful acts of constables), in subsection (7), omit paragraphs (a) and (b) (together with the “or” at the end of paragraph (b)).
(3)
In section 89 (assaults on constables), in subsection (5), omit paragraphs (a) and (b) (together with the “or” at the end of paragraph (b)).
