Article 2 Interpretation

(1)

In this Order—

“the 1962 Act” means the Electoral Law Act (Northern Ireland) 1962^f1;
“Local Elections Rules” means the rules in Schedule 5 to the 1962 Act^f2; and
“the 1985 Order” means the Local Elections (Northern Ireland) Order 1985^f3.

(2)

The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954^f4 applies to Article 1 and this Article and the following provisions of this Order as it applies to an Act of the Assembly.
