In the General Optical Council Election Scheme 2001^f1—

(a)

for the words “ophthalmic optician”, wherever they occur, substitute “optometrist”;

(b)

for the words “ophthalmic opticians”, wherever they occur, substitute “optometrists”; and

(c)

in paragraph 3(i), for “ophthalmic or dispensing opticians” substitute “optometrists or dispensing opticians”.
