Regulation 8 The Plant Protection Products (Sustainable Use) Regulations 2012

The Plant Protection Products (Sustainable Use) Regulations 2012^f1 are amended as follows.

After regulation 9(4) insert—

“(4A)

For the purposes of paragraph (4), “retained EU law on waste” in relation to Northern Ireland includes any European Union legislation on waste which has effect in Northern Ireland by virtue of the Protocol on Ireland/Northern Ireland in the EU withdrawal agreement.”.

In regulation 15(6)(b), for “European Union law” substitute “, in relation to Northern Ireland, any European Union legislation which has effect in Northern Ireland by virtue of the Protocol on Ireland/Northern Ireland in the EU withdrawal agreement”.
