Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, being designated^f1 for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972^f2 in relation to measures relating to the legal protection of designs, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by the said section 2(2) hereby makes the following Regulations:
