Paragraph 10 Amendment of the Equivalence Determinations for Financial Services (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020

The Equivalence Determinations for Financial Services (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020^f1 are amended as follows.

In regulation 2(1) (interpretation), omit the definition of “SSR”.

In Table 2 in Schedule 4 (effect of equivalence directions on or after IP completion day), omit the entry relating to paragraph 11 of Schedule 1 to the Equivalence Determinations for Financial Services and Miscellaneous Provisions (Amendment etc) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 which concerns Article 17(2) of the short selling regulation.
