The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 197(1)(a) and 286(2) of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992^f1.

In accordance with sections 197(2) and 286(4) of that Act, a draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
