Regulation 29 Payment of a compliance fee

(1)

This regulation applies where the operator of a scheme has chosen to pay a compliance fee under regulation 33 of the principal Regulations in respect of WEEE for which an amount in tonnes has been set under the provision in regulation 28(6) for the first and second compliance periods referred to in that regulation.

(2)

In the formula for the calculation of the amount of WEEE under regulation 33(2) of the principal Regulations, the “C” element of the formula is to be calculated by reference to the aggregate amounts of WEEE set by the Secretary of State under—

(a)

the provisions in regulation 28(6)(a)(i) and (b)(i) in respect of category 7;

(b)

the provisions in regulation 28(6)(a)(ii) and (b)(ii) in respect of category 7.1.
