Article 29 Penalties for false information

in giving any information which he is required to give under this Part, knowingly or recklessly makes a statement which is false or misleading in a material particular; or

for the purpose of obtaining any discharge consent or any variation of such a consent, knowingly or recklessly makes a statement which is false or misleading in a material particular,

on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years, or to a fine, or to both;

on summary conviction, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months, or to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum.
