In Schedule 1 to that Act (political balance on local authority committees) in paragraph 4—

(a)

in sub-paragraph (1)—

(i)

the definition of “education committee” is omitted, and

(ii)

in paragraph (a) of the definition of “ordinary committee”, “education committee, their” is omitted, and

(b)

in sub-paragraph (2) in paragraph (a) of the definition of “ordinary committee”, “education committee or” is omitted.
