England and Wales
A person appointed as a member of a committee—
(a)
may resign his membership, or
(b)
may be withdrawn from membership by the F1local authority if, in their opinion, he ceases to be representative of the religion, denomination or associations which he was appointed to represent or (as the case may be) of the authority.
