Section 1 of the Education Act 1962 (F1local authority awards for designated courses) shall continue to have effect with the following amendment (originally made by section 4 of the M1Education (Grants and Awards) Act 1984).

In subsection (3)(d), for the words from “for the higher diploma” onwards there is substituted “ or for the higher national diploma of the body corporate known at the passing of the Education (Grants and Awards) Act 1984 as the Business & Technician Education Council. ”
