(1)

The Reverter of Sites Act 1987 shall be amended as follows.

(2)

In section 1(5) (right of reverter replaced by trust for sale) for “section 2 of the Education Act 1973” there is substituted “ section 554 of the Education Act 1996 ”.

(2)

In section 5 (orders under Education Act 1973)—

(a)

in subsection (1), for “section 2 of the Education Act 1973” there is substituted “ section 554 of the Education Act 1996 ”; and

(b)

for “section 2 of the said Act of 1973”, wherever occurring, there is substituted “ section 554 of the 1996 Act ”.
