Regulation 41 Restricted reporting ordersI1
England and Wales
If it appears appropriate to do so the President or the tribunal panel may make an order limiting or prohibiting the publishing of any matter that is likely to lead members of the public to identify the appellant, claimant, child or other person, where it is considered that they should not be identified.
In this regulation “publishing” includes, without prejudice to the generality of that expression—
publishing any matter in a programme service, as defined by section 201(1) of the Broadcasting Act 1990f1, and
causing any matter to be published.
An order under this regulation may be made in respect of a limited period and may be varied or revoked by the President or the tribunal panel.
