(1)
The Minister may by order provide for paragraph 6 to have effect as if the reference to the third new canvass were a reference to the second new canvass.
(2)
An order under sub-paragraph (1) may be made only in the period of 3 months beginning with 1 June in the year in which the second new canvass begins.
(3)
A statutory instrument containing provision under sub-paragraph (1) only is subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament (and section 11(2) does not apply to it).
