Regulation 6 Relevant apparatus

(1)

Subject to paragraph (2) below, this Part shall have effect for the purposes of providing for the application of these Regulations, and apparatus to which these Regulations apply shall be relevant apparatus.

(2)

In addition to applying to relevant apparatus, the following provisions of these Regulations apply as follows:—

(a)

Part I, and regulations 35(6), 36(4), 76 to 79, 82, 83, 84(c) and (d), 86 to 88, 91 to 93 and 95 to 99, apply to electrical apparatus other than relevant apparatus; and

(b)

Part I and regulations 7(2), 82, 83, 86, 92, 93, 95, and 99 apply to an excluded installation as a unit (without prejudice to the application of the provisions referred to in sub-paragraph (a) above to such installation or any part thereof on the ground that it is electrical apparatus).
