LGA 1972 is amended in accordance with this section.

(2)

In section 144 (power to encourage visitors and provide conference and other facilities), in subsections (1) and (2), after “local authority” insert “, combined authority or combined county authority”.

(3)

In section 145 (provision of entertainments)—

(a)

in subsection (1), in the words before paragraph (a), after “local authority” insert “, combined authority or combined county authority”;

(b)

in subsection (2), in the words before paragraph (a), after “local authority” insert “, combined authority or combined county authority”.
