Section 81 Functions of the new Agencies.

(1)

In discharging its pollution control functions, each new Agency F1and the Natural Resources Body for Wales shall have regard to the strategy.

(2)

In this section “pollution control functions” F2... ~~F3means~~—

(a)

F4means in the case of the Agency F5or the Natural Resources Body for Wales, the functions conferred on it by or under the enactments specified in section 5(5) above F6(subject, in the case of the Body, to section 5(6) above) ; or

(b)

in the case of SEPA, ~~F7the functions conferred on it by or under the enactments specified in section 33(5) above~~ has the same meaning as in section 108(15) below in relation to SEPA.
