Emission limit values (mg/Nm³) for SO₂ for combustion plants using gaseous fuels with the exception of gas turbines and gas engines are, unless the circumstances in sub-paragraph (2) apply, as stated in Table 2—

Combustion plants, firing low calorific gases from gasification of refinery residues, which were granted a permit before 27 November 2002 or where a complete application for a permit was submitted before that date, provided that the plant was put into operation no later than 27 November 2003, are subject to an emission limit value for SO₂ of 800 mg/Nm³.
