Schedule 5 ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS TO WHICH PAYMENTS REFERRED TO IN SCHEDULE 9, PART II, ITEM 4 RELATE

As regards any land which is subject to the agreement, requirements to the effect that—

(a)

the farmer shall agree a programme of fen management with the Minister and shall implement that programme;

(b)

the farmer shall not apply any fertiliser to the land;

(c)

the farmer shall not apply any lime, slag or other substance designed to reduce the acidity of the soil of the land; and

(d)

the farmer shall not use pesticides, fungicides, herbicides or insecticides on the land.
