And be it further enacted by the Authority aforesaid That no Fee or Reward whatsoever shall bee taken by any Sheriff Clerk of Assizes or any other Officer or Person whatsoever for the returneing of any Tales or upon the account of any Tales returned upon paine of forfeiture for every such Offence the su[m]m of Ten Pounds whereof one moiety to be to the use of the Prosecutor and the other moiety to the use of Their Majesties their Heires and Successors to be recovered by Action of Debt Bill Plaint or Informac[i]on wherein noe Essoign Protection or Wager of Law or more then one Imparlance shall be allowed.
