Division Designation of competent authority

For the purposes of this Annex and unless otherwise indicated, any reference to the European Union (EU) or to Cape Verde as a competent authority shall mean:

  • for the EU: the European Commission, where applicable via the EU Delegation in Cape Verde,

  • for Cape Verde: the Minister for Fisheries.
