Article 36 The Depositary

The Director-General of the FAO shall be the Depositary of this Agreement. The Depositary shall:

1. (a)

   transmit certified copies of this Agreement to each signatory and Party;

2. (b)

   register this Agreement, upon its entry into force, with the Secretariat of the United Nations in accordance with Article 102 of the Charter of the United Nations;

3. (c)

   promptly inform each signatory and Party to this Agreement of all:

   1. (i)

      signatures and instruments of ratification, acceptance, approval and accession deposited under Articles 25, 26 and 27;

   2. (ii)

      the date of entry into force of this Agreement in accordance with Article 29;

   3. (iii)

      proposals for amendment to this Agreement and their adoption and entry into force in accordance with Article 33;

   4. (iv)

      proposals for amendment to the Annexes and their adoption and entry into force in accordance with Article 34; and

   5. (v)

      withdrawals from this Agreement in accordance with Article 35.
