‘For existing stationary sources:

  1. (i)

    eight years after the date of entry into force of the present Protocol for a Party. If necessary this period may be extended for specific existing stationary sources in accordance with the amortization period provided for by national legislation; or

  2. (ii)

    for a Party that is a country with an economy in transition, up to 15 years after the date of entry into force of the present Protocol for that Party.’
