Division 4 A new paragraph shall be added at the end of the Annex as follows:

‘2.

The timescales for the application of limit values and best available techniques that have been updated or introduced as a result of amendment of this Protocol shall be:

1. (a)

   for new stationary sources, two years after the date of entry into force of the relevant amendment for a Party;

2. (b)

   for existing stationary sources:

   1. (i)

      eight years after the date of entry into force of the relevant amendment for a Party; or

   2. (ii)

      for a Party that is a country with an economy in transition, up to 15 years after the date of entry into force of the relevant amendment for that Party’.
