THE EUROPEAN UNION/SWITZERLAND GNSS COMMITTEE,

Having regard to the Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and its Member States, of the one part, and the Swiss Confederation, of the other, on the European satellite navigation programmes, and in particular Article 20 thereof,

Whereas:

The Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and its Member States, of the one part, and the Swiss Confederation, of the other, on the European satellite navigation programmes^f1 (‘the Agreement’) has been provisionally applied between the Swiss Confederation (‘Switzerland’) and the Union since 1 January 2014 as regards elements falling within the competence of the Union.

In accordance with Article 20(2) of the Agreement, the European Union/Switzerland GNSS Committee (‘the Joint Committee’) is to establish its rules of procedure.

In accordance with Article 20(4) of the Agreement, the Joint Committee may decide to set up working groups or groups of experts to assist it in the accomplishment of its tasks.

In accordance with Article 27(2) of the Agreement, the Joint Committee shall be made up of representatives of Switzerland and of the Union during the provisional application of the Agreement,
