amending Annex IX (Financial services) and Annex XIX (Consumer protection) to the EEA Agreement

THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof,

Whereas:

Directive 2014/17/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 February 2014 on credit agreements for consumers relating to residential immovable property and amending Directives 2008/48/EC and 2013/36/EU and Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010f1, as corrected by OJ L 246, 23.9.2015, p. 11, is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

Annexes IX and XIX to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,
